Winner, “Small Exercise Facility of the Year” 2016 New Zealand Exercise Industry Awards
PRESS RELEASE – Christchurch fitness and personal training business “Pumped” has been named Winner, “Small Exercise Facility of the Year” at the 2016 New Zealand Exercise Industry Awards.
The small fitness business was awarded the title whilst attending the black tie event held at Auckland University of Technology (AUT) over the weekend.
The award recognises “Pumped” as the best exercise facility in New Zealand operating with under 500 members.
Owner/Operators Katie Lugtigheid and Christopher Warwick have worked hard over the last few years to establish “Pumped” as a leading provider of personal training services in the wider Christchurch area. With Katie being awarded the top honour of “Personal Trainer of the Year” in 2015, they felt it was the perfect time to really elevate their community orientated business and strive toward being the best overall small facility in NZ.
The judges commented that “With Katie upfront delivering sessions and Chris covering the unseen but crucial back of house administration, social media and more, they are the perfect recipe for business success.”
The pair now plan to continue development of the business through identification of other key trainers and industry specialists that will help widen their reach and aid them in growth of the “Pumped Family”.
“Pumped is our whole life, we give it everything and want only the best for our clients. It’s very personal, with a large percentage of our members being with us since the very beginning and want to ensure that we hold on to that as we continue to grow.”
