About Pumped

Pumped Personal Training was founded by Kate Lugtigheid in 2009 and is based in central Christchurch. We pride ourselves in helping women feel good about themselves, encouraging them to have the self confidence that they deserve. We aim to provide an enthusiastic and positive service, where you will work hard, but have fun at the same time. Our personal training services are tailored to clients needs through the thorough understanding of their goals, right now and as they change over time. We are not a gym or a service where you will only hear from us at your next session, you’ll most likely hear from us everyday, ensuring you are on track, motivated, and ready to achieve your goal!

At our core we specialise in one on one personal training and small group circuits, however for a long time now we have been providing a multitude of other services to cater for our clients needs:

Personal Training

This is exclusive and private personal training where it’s all about you. You will have sole access to our modern fitness facility under the guidance of your own dedicated and highly motivated REPs registered trainer. Regular goal setting sessions ensure we keep you on track to achievement and stay there once you arrive. The benefit of one on one personal training is that you can be pushed to your full potential safely, whilst being held accountable to your goals during and in between training sessions. Go hard to your own playlist, warm down with a trainer assisted stretch and dry off with the fresh towels provided. We are the best in the business at what we do and over the years seen some remarkable results, just ask our clients, training with us really does change your life!

Doubles Sessions

Unlike personal training, this option provides you with the chance to embark on a health and fitness journey with a friend or partner and in turn split the investment. Sessions are 45 minutes and completely private, delivered out of the modern boutique Pumped studio. An experienced REPs registered trainer will push you both to your potential ensuring you work hard but have fun at the same time. As a Pumped athlete you’ll also receive our array of support services to assist in keeping you on track and ready to achieve your goals alongside the rest of the Pumped family


Pumped Boxing & Huffy Puffy Classes

These popular group circuits are held twice a week. We have boxing on a Monday evening at 6:00pm and a Huffy Puffy Circuit on a Wednesday evening at 5:30pm. Classes are 60mins and are limited to 12 people. The objective of these classes are to get you fitter, faster and stronger through a combination of huffy puffy and strength exercises. They generally involve short rounds of each activity, aiming to keep your heart rate up. These circuits are designed to meet each athletes needs, so it doesn’t matter what your fitness level is. This is a cost effective way to exercise, while still giving you the opportunity to be pushed and be part of a group of like minded people.
