It’s that time again. Daylight hours are minimal, it’s cold outside, motivation to exercise waivers, comfort food on cold and rainy days becomes more frequent and hibernation for winter begins…
You have a choice – to become a bear and eat yourself into hibernation or work on becoming a much healthier, happier and more confident you.
For those of you who are already working on their health and fitness, thank you! If you are looking to get started, want an extra push or are keen to take it to the next level, then the Catch Fitness 20 Week Challenge could be for you.
We love this challenge! We have had phenomenal success over the last 5 years with 176 entrants, 161 finalists and 39 category winners, along with recognition that our head trainer Kate is doing a fantastic job, being awarded Personal Trainer of the series in 2012, 2015 and 2016.
This year we have modified the way we deliver the challenge to increase engagement and accountability. For those of you new to the challenge, this won’t mean much, but for those who have done the challenge before, we hope it will make it more fun and exciting than ever before.
Our challenge schedule will consist of 4 x 5 week mini challenges each with a different theme to ensure you stay motivated and engaged all the way through. We believe these shorter blocks will make a real difference as we know what 20 long weeks can feel like. There will be pre and post testing at the start and end of each 5 week block relative to the theme we have for that block (testing like everything else is of course optional)
There will be 2 dedicated classes per week included as part of the package, one on a week day (either a Tuesday or a Thursday evening) and the other outside on Saturday mornings. These classes will include nutrition, physical exercise as well as positive mental and emotional habits that will help establish new routines and healthy lifestyle changes.
With 3 great trainers ready to help you on your journey and 4 x 5 week mini challenges to keep you on track, we are really excited for another fun and successful year at 20 week challenge!
